Committees

The coordination of WINGSForum 2026 is supported by two committees that bring together leaders and practitioners from across the global philanthropy community. These committees guide the overall direction of WINGSForum, contribute to programme development, and help ensure the event reflects the diversity of perspectives and experiences within the wider philanthropy ecosystem, the network of people and institutions that support giving and social action.

Host Committee

The Host Committee supports the connection between WINGSForum 2026 and its local and national context. Members help ensure that WINGSForum reflects the local setting, including culture, perspectives, and practices, while remaining connected to the global philanthropy community.

WINGSForum 2026 will take place in Montréal, also known as Tiohtià:ke in Kanien’kéha (Mohawk), a place that has long served as a site of meeting and exchange among many First Nations, including the Haudenosaunee, Huron/Wendat, Abenaki, and Anishinabeg.

Montréal is located on the unceded and unsurrendered traditional territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) Nation, custodians and caretakers of these lands and waters. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous Peoples whose presence continues to shape this place where people from around the world now gather.
