Celebrating organisations that strengthen the philanthropy ecosystem
The WINGS Ecosystem Builder Awards (WEBAs) recognise organisations and funders that play an essential role in strengthening the wider philanthropy ecosystem, the network of people and institutions that support giving and social action around the world.
The awards highlight the value of organisations whose work helps philanthropy grow, connect, learn, and act. By celebrating these contributions, the WEBAs aim to raise awareness of the importance of the infrastructure that supports philanthropy, and to encourage continued investment in it.

What the WEBAs celebrate
The WEBAs recognise:
- Philanthropy support organisations that help build connections, capacity, and knowledge across the field.
- Funders that invest in strengthening the systems, relationships, and practices that allow philanthropy to have a meaningful long-term role in society.
- Good practices that show how supportive environments and networks help philanthropy flourish.
The awards are an opportunity to shine a light on the often unseen work that enables collaboration, learning, and progress across the global philanthropy community.

Why the WEBAs matter
Strong and connected philanthropy ecosystems help organisations respond to challenges more effectively. By recognising those who strengthen these foundations, the WEBAs aim to:
- Inspire continued collaboration within the WINGS community
- Build appreciation for the role of support organisations
- Encourage funders to invest in the systems that help philanthropy grow
- Highlight approaches that bring people and organisations together
